A Board of Directors governs and represents the Academy. Its main role is planning and organizing programs. The members of the Board of Directors will be elected by the General Assembly from among its members, present, through direct vote, for four years. The Academy´s Official Headquarters is located in the country of which the President of the Academy is a resident; currently Mexico City.
The Board of Directors is integrated by a President, a Secretary, and six Counselors:
